What is all this talk about carbon?

All of this carbon talk has been driven by recent climate change around the world which has been defined as one of the most urgent problems of our time. Making a personal commitment to reduce your 'carbon footprint' is a big step in the right direction to achieving a healthier environment. As more of us gay and lesbian world travellers choose to take the green road, more international corporations are forced to pave that road with grass rather than asphalt.

What is OUT Adventures doing to be Carbon Neutral?

Many organizations today are hopping on the green wagon by supporting carbon initiatives in one way or another. Specifically in travel, you will notice an option to purchase carbon offsets.

At OUT Adventures, we are covering this cost for you on select trips in 2009 with a goal to offset all group departures by 2010. OUT Adventures has partnered with Intrepid Travel to offset the carbon produced on select trips.
