Gay Travel in Peru

Peru is one of our most popular destinations at OUT Adventures. Why, you ask? It could be the opportunity to fullfill your adventurous spirit, or perhaps your interest in a relatively unknown culture... or simply to view the beautiful, magical Machu Picchu.

Any way you put it, imagine experiencing culture, adventure, mystery and history... all with other gay and lesbian travellers. We are often asked what kind of gay life Peru offers. Well, to start Peru was one of 54 states to support a UN resolution against discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation in December of 2006. With this type of government support, visible gay life has begun to sprout around the country.

While Cuzco has a quaint gay life, Lima is definitely the gay Peruvian hub with quite a few gay bars and very welcoming hotels and B&B's.
