Take a break on the squeaky white sand beaches of this tropical island getaway. Find a piece of paradise walking the palm fringed shoreline and swimming in the clear green seas. Ko Samui has been attracting locals and visitors alike for decades with its eclectic mix of beachside bliss, action filled attractions and cultural delights. Feast on world class fair, from perfectly cooked Italian pasta to punchy coconut-infused Thai curries before hitting the water to swim, snorkel dive or boat in its warm expanse. For those looking for a taste of local history, the island is dotted with numerous temples, including the famous Wat Khunaraam - the resting place of a mummified monk.

Live the dream tropical escape at eco-friendly Coral Bay Resort. Tucked away in palm-shaded tropical gardens that slope gently down to a white sandy beach, the resort is within easy reach of bustling shops, exciting nightlife and a range of fabulous restaurants. Its secluded bungalows are nestled in Yai Noi Bay, the perfect location to while away hours with a book, a cocktail or a cat nap under a shady palm. The bay's coral reef keeps away power boats and jet skis and provides a serene setting for snorkelling and fishing.

As all good things must come to an end, today there's just enough time to take a final dip in Ko Samui's pristine waters, before saying goodbye to this idyllic island paradise.
